Chapter 46: Levin
Arren shook his hand, eyes shining as his heartbeats quickened. As soon as the car door opened, he stepped out of the car. He breathed heavily and smiled widely. This was what life felt like.
Seconds later, he calmed down and glanced at one of his bodyguards. The man in front of him wore a black suit, and his head bowed slightly. Arren raised his eyebrows.
"Are you new?" he asked. He seemed didn’t seen this one from his entourage before. Then as he glanced at the other one, it seemed... his bodyguards were all new?
The bodyguard only nodded, not daring to look at him.
Arren crunched his nose slightly, did the training for bodyguards really this strict nowadays? Why couldn’t this bodyguard look at him straight? Not like he was some royalty. He was a noble, but his former bodyguards were still friendly.
He then glanced at the other one, and he was still the same as this one. Arren tilted his head; he couldn’t understand. He shook his head and didn’t mind the bodyguards anymore. Perhaps they were trained that way.
With that in mind, he pretended he didn’t see anyone following him as he strode to the school. He could get used to this feeling again.
"Oh, look’s here, our beautiful Arren." The raspy voice instantly reached his ears, Arren at the direction of the sound. There, Ramon, with a bunch of his friends, surrounded him.
Arren glanced at his side, his bodyguards not leaving him. He forced himself not to roll his eyes; he would never get used to this feeling. Still, he didn’t reprimand them. They were doing their job, after all.
Instead, he smiled at Ramon. A sly glint in his eyes made Ramon and even the friends surrounding him shiver in cold. Arren stepped forward to their position as Ramon even subconsciously stepped back.
He raised his brows, "What? Am I scary?" a mischievous smile played on his red lips.
