Chapter 57 Plight of Stannis family
"I didn’t expect your family would be in such a situation. But now it’s good. That bastard is dead so no one will bully you in the future." Roger stroked the foreheads of the two little girls and said gently.
"But we don’t know where to go in the future." Dani looked at Roger blankly.
"Don’t worry, you can get some sleep first. I will arrange other things for you. I won’t leave you homeless." Roger smiled and helped them lie down.
The two girls were very well behaved and fell asleep quickly after being comforted by Roger.
After going outside, he heard faint groans and moans in the corridor. Roger walked forward and opened a door, which looks like Stannis room. There he saw Melody sitting near the bed with her hands tight and face blocked with a piece of fabric. Not far away from her he can see Randy putting gold coins, rubies, magic crystals in a bag and from his smile he could say the loot is not bad.
"Man, you look very happy." Roger walked in with a smile.
"Roger, you’ve come just in time. Look at the loot it’s good that we didn’t went back, that fatty was hiding lots of gold coins." Randy said as he shake the loot bag.
Roger walked over, stretched out his hands to pinch Melody’s face, took the piece of cloth out of her mouth, bent down, and looked at Melody face to face.
Melody seemed to have not expected the other party to reveal his true face. She was stunned for a moment, and then subconsciously closed her eyes. She knew that anyone who saw the face of this man would not be far from death.
