Chapter 56 Breaking In
As soon as Randy threw the coachman’s body aside, Stannis’s fat body twisted and turned toward the carriage standing not far away.
"Little bitch, you don’t want to be treated well by me, but insist on forcing me to use this method. I’ll torture you half to death tonight!" Stannis growled angrily and soon approached the carriage. As he neared, he caught the faint smell of blood lingering in the air, and his expression turned into a frown.
"Hey, you guys didn’t hurt her, did you? Do you think you can touch the master’s woman? If I find out what you did, I’ll punish you!"
Stannis stood with his hands on his waist, cursing loudly for a while. Then he reached up to lift the curtain of the carriage, completely unaware of the eerie silence surrounding him—and the three people hiding just behind the carriage.
When Roger heard the fat pig speak about torturing Jessica, a deep fury surged within him. He had been suppressing his anger for a long time, but now he couldn’t hold it in any longer. He stepped forward, grabbed Stannis by the neck with his bare hand, and hoisted his fat body high into the air.
"Y..yo.u..who ..ar..you?" Staniss said as he tries to remove the hand of Roger from his neck.
Stannis’s eyes bulged as his face turned red. His two pudgy hands clawed at Roger’s iron grip, and his stubby legs kicked helplessly in the air, making a wheezing "crackling" noise as he struggled to breathe. But in Roger’s hands—like iron clamps—he had no chance of escape.
"I’m the lover of the woman you love, you pig bastard!" Roger said as he tightened his grip.
After a few seconds, Stannis body went limp. Whether he was dead or just unconscious was unclear.
Roger dropped him to the ground with a thud. Commack immediately stepped forward, drew a longsword, and struck the fat man several times to ensure he was dead. Roger looked up at Commack with approval. Though Commack’s fighting spirit was a little low, he was still a capable person.
The guards in the courtyard were standing lazily, yawning and chatting among themselves, completely unaware that intruders had entered.
