Arissa shook her head in refusal to Nicklaus’s words. "There was no need to call a doctor over, I am perfectly fine," she said and turned fully to face him.
"I’m not buying that," Nicklaus countered and placed his hand on her neck, "You can’t tell me you’re okay when you are visibly having a fever,"
Arissa smiled at him and placed a hand on his chest, "You worry too much, Nick. I said I’m fine, I am okay and trust me when I tell you this," she tried to convince him.
"I_" she was cut off from her speech by that nauseous feeling returning. She felt it rush up to her mouth and like a flash, she rolled off the bed and ran into the bathroom.
She first locked the door after her before bending her head over the poo seat. She heard Nickalus trying to open the door from outside and she thanked herself for locking the door.
"Love?" Nicklaus called from outside and knocked on the door, "Love, open the door and tell me what’s wrong with you. How do you feel?"
"I feel fine," Arissa replied from the inside and then she placed a hand on her stomach and said to the baby, "You already want your dad to know?" she kept her voice low and soft.
As if to reply to her question, she felt nauseated and bent over the seat to throw up again. "If that’s what you want, I’ll tell your Dad about you right at this moment. But first, I want you to be a good child and behave, okay? Mummy hasn’t had anything into her stomach yet and only keeps on vomiting, which is bad for her health," Arissa explained to her baby with heavy breaths.
