Arissa stiffened when her legs made it to the hallway. She thought the living room was all of it and never guessed more.
"Nicklaus," she gushed.
When she said she was ready for more surprises, she never expected it to be this extreme.
The hallway wasn’t left out in the magical and breathtaking arrangement. For the hallway, rows, and rows of blooming colorful flowers that nearly consumed the hallway covered everywhere.
The flower path filled the hallway down to the elevator and ended at a slumber party-style set-up consisting of dreamy diffused purple lighting.
"This is beautiful," her voice became emotional, "I’m sorry you went through all of this stress,"
Nicklaus brushed it off, "I went through no stress. It’s for the woman I love and besides, Geal was here to help with a few persons," he told her.
He swept her feet off the floor and carried her into his arms in bridal style. A small unexpected shrill left Arissa’s lips and when he smiled down at her, she laughed.
Nicklaus carried her through the rows of flowers and into the elevator. Arissa’s heart pounded in her chest when they got to their room floor.
