Chapter 76: She would die here.
Arissa gritted her teeth and clenched her feet in raw pain. This was her first time going through something like this and it was killing her.
She felt like she was going to die.
"Son of a bitch," she cursed lowly as she drew the arrow off her right arm. She held her breath to stop her from trembling.
Brutal pain shot through her, almost numbing her mind with pain. The pain was hellish.
"Arissa, calm down. Breathe in and breathe out," she muttered to herself.
The man now stood before her as he stretched his bow and arrow to shoot at her again and his hand was deliberately directed on her forehead.
Arissa needed time to think and after a fast plan, she announced, "I’m Arissa Lincoln. Mr. Lincoln’s daughter." her heart quickened as she spoke.
The man stared at her with doubt. Who the girl was or how she found her here, he doesn’t know and with a snarl, he replied, "Mr. Lincoln has no child." the man rough voice corrected, and then Arissa’s heart dropped. Realizing she would die if she do not act fast, she ignored the pain spreading throughout her body and held the arrow tightly.
Her hands trembled with fear about what she was about to do but seeing the killing intent in his eyes, her survival instinct kicked in. Noticing he was a bit distracted with her claim, she arched her three inches off the floor and stabbed the arrow she just drew out from her body directly into his tight.
