His Toxic Addiction

Chapter 75: New threats.

Alfred’s muffles and cries for help were sealed as the sellotape still wasn’t off his lips. The new image of this Alfred wasn’t the old haunt tyrant but a humbled new man, begging for forgiveness.

Logan cleared his throat after scanning Alfred, "I respected you a lot," Logan confessed, a sardonic smile forming on his lips.

Blood dropped from all parts of Alfred’s body and in just two hours, the man seemed to be taking his last breath. His branded blue suit was now socked with his blood and some parts have deep cuts from the lashes he was given with rods.

Looking at Alfred, Logan was tempted to just end the man but no. Mapping out lots of plans all these years taught him one strong virtue which was patience and, this was the period to put it in line.

A deep breath, "I would have used Arissa to pay you back for your sins but thinking about it, she’s just an innocent sweet angel, and hurting her would leave me broken,"

Logan paused, startled by his confession. He does like Arissa but he never knew it was up to the point he can openly confess about being hurt if she gets hurt. Pushing Arissa out of his mind, for now, he continued with Alfred before him.

"And after taking a good view into your kind of person, I realized hurting Arissa would not break you so what did I do?" he paused again and clapped his hands, and immediately, a bulky man pushed an old woman on a wheelchair in.

She was unconscious.

"Say hi to your mother Alfred," and the moment Logan permitted Alfred to say hi, the sellotape was forcefully dragged out of Alfred’s lips.
