His Toxic Addiction

Chapter 53: Difficult task

There was a sad light in Nicklaus’s eyes as he walked into his room and harshly, he slammed the door behind him. His fist tightened, and his knuckles turned bluish with his eyes red from unleashed held-back anger.

Nicklaus do not know why but every single time, he can’t lash out at her and now, he had to come back into his room with held-up anger that caused turmoil in his heart.

His dark and dangerous eyes focused on his built-in fireplace. With deep thoughts, he fought his tears back into his eyes.

His chest tightened and breathing felt hard for him as he dropped to the floor.

With haggard breath, he sat on the floor and ran his hand through his hair. He warned her not to call him that name again or show him unnecessary care but as usual, the message did not get into that thick scull of hers, and now, she seamlessly pushed him into the memories again.

His nostrils flared as he tried to catch his breath and breath normally. A muscle in his jaw tightened and his fingers dragged on his hair mindlessly.

He laid down on the floor and all of them resurfaced.

The memories he thought he was safe from.

Flashback~~

"Klaus. Come back inside the car," an old nanny ordered when the little boy of five years ran out of the car without a specific place where he wanted to go to.

She was warned to take him far away and she does not know what would come upon her and her family if she does otherwise.
