Chapter 140 - 134: Possibility
It was a Saturday afternoon when I had plans with Horikita the next day. The fridge was completely empty, so I had come out to do some shopping.
"Buying groceries too, Hikigaya?"
"Yeah, there's nothing left in the fridge. What about you?"
"I was going to cook lunch, but I didn't have any ingredients. Well, same as you, I guess."
We ran into each other at the entrance. But since neither of us had any real business with the other, as Ayanokouji turned to leave, I stopped him.
"Oh, right. Ayanokouji."
Suddenly, something from the other day popped into my head, and I called out to him. The guy himself turned back with a puzzled look, facing me again.
"Something you need?"
"Not exactly, but there's something I wanted to ask. You free right now?"
"I am, but like I said earlier, I haven't had lunch yet..."
"I'll treat you. I haven't eaten either."
