    I’ve carried hundreds of main characters from rock bottom to heavenly realms. I assign quests. I give cheats. I rewrite fates. I do not get emotionally attached.
    Then I got assigned to Seraphine Velka.
    Known as the Phoenix Lord, she’s beautiful, terrifying, and 100% uninterested in falling for the male lead… which is great. That’s my mission.
    What’s not great? She keeps looking at me like I’m her next cultivation partner.
