Chapter 137: Awaited confession (4)
Selene waited until the servants left to then join Xavier in the bathing chamber. When she walked inside, Xavier was already discarding his clothes and neatly setting them to the side.
Selene turned to offer him some privacy and to not stare at his body. The realisation that she too needed to get undressed came to her now.
She looked down at her dress and quickly started to loosen the strings so she could get undressed while Xavier was busy removing his clothes. Selene did not want to back out of this now when she had already agreed but standing here made her feel nervous.
Selene turned when she heard him approaching. Xavier was naked before her, confident in himself and how he looked.
Was it wrong she wanted to pinch him to get rid of how confident he was?
Xavier knew Selene needed a helping hand so he pulled on the string at the front of her dress. He was grateful this was not one of the dresses which had many buttons he needed to open or he would have lost his patience.
He was well aware she kept her gaze on his face to avoid looking at the lower part of his body. Selene might not be scared but she certainly was nervous which she had every right to be. Selene might change her mind about joining him now if she knew what was going on inside his head. If she knew of the ways he wanted to have her.
Xavier kissed her as a distraction whilst his hands worked to undress her. He was fortunate to know what needed to be undone to have her out of all that she wore before the water started to turn too warm.
With the last of what covered her dropping to the floor, Xavier stepped away from Selene. She needed to do this part on her own.
