After inspecting it, Pingying thought that the carpenter’s design was adequate. It involved using a complete template to serve as a wall with a door on the far side to divide the bedroom into two.

She nodded, "Alright, no need to measure then. We’ll do it this way."

Carpenter Zhang, finding Pingying easy to talk to, readily agreed, "Okay, this is simple. I’ll have it done today and install it at your place tomorrow afternoon."

"Alright," Pingying agreed, handed over the deposit to Carpenter Zhang, and walked off with Qiu Lian.

Qiu Lian wasn’t in a hurry to take her back; instead, she took Pingying for a stroll around the village near the military unit, and then into the unit, explaining where everything was.

Actually, Pingying still had some memories of the military unit since she had spent a considerable amount of time there in her past life and had even worked in the unit’s canteen.

However, Pingying found Qiu Lian to be quite nice. She was straightforward, generous, and much easier to get along with than Luo Chun, who appeared easygoing.
