Chapter 117: An alpha’s rut
Azrael stood from the bed. But his vision wriggled and the floor seemed like tripping him. He tried to walk straight, but his body fell after just a single step. He fell hard to the floor and slowly, his eyelids were getting heavier and heavier until they finally succeeded in putting him to sleep again.
A few hours later, the warm feeling of something hitting his face stirred him from sleep. His half-lidded opened eyes received glares from the glass wall.
Azrael shut his eyes tightly once more, then he turned his head to the other side where the sun didn’t hit his vision. Slowly, he opened them again and adjusted them to the bright surroundings.
However, what greeted his eyes was the sleeping face of a woman.
Azrael abruptly sat up, the cover slipping on his chest revealing his naked body. Because of his movement, he unintentionally yanked the sheet from Elise as well, displaying her naked upper body filled with hickeys.
His face lost color, and his eyes bulged in disbelief and utter denial. His head throbbed as he tried to remember what happened. He glared down at the woman beside him, his knuckles whitening from suppressing himself to strangling the lady.
Before he could commit murder, he quickly jumped from the bed and put on his clothes, then without throwing Elise another glance, he dashed to the door of the bathroom.
His breathing was hard and his groin was hurting. He looked down and he found his dick hard and twitching. Something was wrong with him. He wore a robe, grabbed a towel, and covered his nose before he went back to the room.
He was in a rut, but he was certain it came to him unnaturally. His rut schedule had been regular after his condition turned better. So, there was only one explanation for why it suddenly came to him.
