Chapter 392: Too Cramped*
Rain and Alexander were up early, watching the sun rise over the ocean view. She sipped her hot chocolate, while Alexander enjoyed his coffee.
"Hmm, is this the first time I’ve seen you drinking chocolate? Or were you doing it before I lost my memory?" he asked.
"From now on, you’ll see me drinking hot chocolate instead of coffee," she said casually. "It’s healthier, don’t you think? I also love hot milk. I used to feel like coffee gave me an extra boost for work, but this is better."
She didn’t mention her suspicion about being pregnant. Rain didn’t want to jinx it, so she resolved to confirm it first before telling Alexander.
"So, where do you want to go next after this?" he asked.
Rain chuckled. "Let’s conserve energy. Driving further can be exhausting. Let’s stay here a bit longer and head home before dark. This place is perfect."
Excitedly, she added, "We can still swim since it’s a hot beach. It’s ideal!"
"Alright, let’s finish our drinks. How about a walk before we get soaked?" Alexander suggested.
Rain nodded, and after finishing their drinks, they continued chatting about the future.
"I still can’t believe I’m married now," Alexander said with a wide smile, his gaze fixed on the serene waves. "But it feels right. I think this is the ideal age for me to settle down. I can picture having a big family."
"How many kids do you want?" Rain asked, even though she already knew his answer from a previous conversation.
