Chapter 1367: The Young Madam’s Condition Isn’t Very Good
"Young Madam, are you really okay? Your face doesn’t look so good." Olly quickly draped the clothes she took out over her and supported her as they walked back.
As Scarlett got close to her, Olly felt as if a cold wave had swept over.
She couldn’t help but inhale sharply, feeling a bit worried for Scarlett.
The Young Madam’s body was like ice, freezing cold, her face stiff with cold. After being in the cold for so long, is she really alright?
But her complexion really looks so terrible.
--
After supporting Scarlett back, Olly immediately ran her a tub of hot water: "Young Madam, soak in a hot bath, warm yourself up."
Scarlett didn’t refuse, nodding: "Alright."
After leaving Scarlett’s room, Olly asked the kitchen to prepare a pot of thick ginger soup and to send a bowl to Scarlett’s room once it was ready.
After handling everything, Olly hesitated whether to inform Matthew Saxon.
She felt they should call a doctor to have a look and maybe prescribe some medicine for the Young Madam.
As Olly stood hesitantly outside Matthew Saxon’s room, the door suddenly swung open.
Matthew’s cold face appeared. Seeing her, he paused, his eyebrows slightly furrowing: "Is there something wrong?"
Olly hesitated, her face showing a concerned expression, and said: "Young Master, Young Madam isn’t doing very well, should we call a doctor to check on her?"
Matthew’s face showed a slight change; without even realizing, a hint of concern appeared in his eyes, "What’s wrong with her?"
Olly thought for a moment and shared her worries with Matthew: "When I helped Young Madam back earlier, I noticed her body was as cold as ice. Young Master, I’m worried she might fall ill."
"What did she say about it?"
"Young Madam said she’s fine and asked me not to worry, but how can it be fine when her hands are so cold?"
After a moment of silence, Matthew nodded slightly and said in a calm voice, "I understand."
"Then... should we get the doctor..."
"Since she said she’s okay, there’s no need to call a doctor."
"But..."
Matthew interrupted her, furrowing his brows as if somewhat impatient: "There’s no ’but.’ She knows her body better than anyone. If she says she’s fine, then she’s fine. You don’t need to worry about this anymore."
Olly’s eyes showed a hint of confusion.
What’s going on with the Young Master?
He clearly seemed worried about Young Madam earlier, but now he seems indifferent.
Does the Young Master care about the Young Madam or not?
Although Olly was confused, seeing Matthew’s unpleasant expression, she didn’t dare to say more.
Anyway, this has nothing to do with her; she shouldn’t meddle further. The Young Master is Young Madam’s husband; if he says not to worry, why should she make a fuss?
--
It wasn’t long before Ian Douglas returned.
Seeing his sweetie granddaughter standing unharmed before him, Ian’s eyes turned red with excitement and joy.
Usually so proud, having gone through such a close call, he almost shed tears.
Such a grand occasion, of course, calls for a celebration. The dinner was especially lavish, like a festive feast, with a table full of delicious dishes stretching from end to end.
