Chapter 13: Parting and Rewards
Henry placed his hand on Lucien and said, "I noticed that your body couldn't produce aura. It looks like your predecessor didn't pass down the correct technique and skills. I'll pass them along with the origin. The origin will allow you to quickly rise to champion and find your way to saint, You can consume it to unleash three saint level attacks to protect yourself. Stay safe, maybe I'll see you in the beyond."
With that, Lucien felt the air shimmer as something bright flowed from Henry and Luna's bodies into theirs. The strong light forced Lucien to close his eyes and when he opened them again Luna and Henry were gone.
The only thing left were Henry's armor which floated to Lucien and Luna's robe which hovered near Luna.
Lucien felt a bitter taste rise in his mouth. He didn't want to go through such an experience again.
He looked at Henry's armor and its sun piercing symbol. He would make sure to treasure it. As his hand made contact with the armor, he felt a close connection form between him and the armor. It suddenly turned liquid and flowed around his body, fastening itself onto his arm as a bracelet.
He could feel that he could summon the armor with a thought. The bright sun armor.
Selene followed his example and touched the robe. It too turned into silvery light and flowed into Selene, replacing her previous dress. This reminded Lucien to check her attributes
