Chapter 101
With everyone in the office holding their breath, Michelle stood in front of David Elether, who was sitting on the couch, and observed the state of the void around him. Glancing back at Alexander behind her, she summoned her soul energy, forming a black ball of condensed void in her hand. "Alexander, how did you end up with the void in your body?" she asked as she focused her gaze on the ball of void and started slowly enlarging it.
Alexander lifted a brow. "Why do you want to know that?" he asked.
"Depending on how you got it, I’ll choose a method to approach it. If you don’t tell me anything, I don’t know if I should send my soul energy through your spirit veins into your dantian, or if I should just ram it into your body." Michelle explained lazily as she brought the ball of void right next to David when she deemed it big enough.
Seeing that at the moment, she needed to have her full focus on David, Alexander remained quiet, but he frowned a bit when he saw Michelle put her hand on David’s shoulder. Suddenly, he felt like the shoulder was an eyesore. But he didn’t say anything.
With one hand controlling the ball of void to spread it into a ball of mist, and the other sending a thin thread of her soul energy into David’s body, Michelle coated David’s whole body in the void and let it rage around him for a while, so the void connected to him would let go of him and connect to her void.
After remaining like that for about three minutes, Michelle started condensing the mist of void back into the thick ball of void and pulling out the void she had sent into David’s body. In the next two minutes, she had a ball of void between her hands, clearly bigger the it was before she used it on David. Pulling the ball to her chest, she closed her eyes and absorbed the void into her body, making her frown a bit, as she felt somehow stuffed in her body suddenly. But within the next few seconds, the feeling disappeared.
"How do you feel?" Michelle asked as she opened her eyes and lowered her hands. When she did that, everyone was shocked to see that her eyes were completely black. Like her whole eye was just the pupil.
"He’s fine, but you aren’t," Alexander muttered as he grabbed her by the shoulders and forced her to sit down on the couch.
Being pushed down, Michelle frowned. "Hey-?!" she glared at Alexander, but then she felt his hand over her eyes and powerful pressure immobilize her.
