Almighty Father System

While Leo was cooking the meals for his guests and family, the world was in a turmoil as the Eagle nation was caught in a storm. They had tried to take advantage of the storm to fake a fault in the warship and dock it near the space elevator. They were trying to find out the secrets of the place. However, what they had not expected was for their plan to be seen through by Leo Cardinal.

The president of the Eagle Nation was a on call with someone, and his old face was scrunched as if he had eaten some shit. A few minutes later when the call ended, the old man sighed and then he picked up the same device again to call his defense secretary. The person answered in a quick minute and Krump said, "Come to my office."

That was it, the summon had been issued and now he wanted to get things sorted. After ten minutes, the defense secretary walked inside the room and Krump gestured for the lady to sit down before he asked, "I would like to ask you, if we go to war with the Clover Nation, can we win?"

The Defense Secretary opened his eyes wide and with the experience he had after serving for over thirty years, he sighed and shook his head. He said, "We cannot match the arsenal capabilities of their nation at this moment. The current level of the Clover Army is higher than anyone in the world. They have developed generation six fighters for air supremacy, the missile tech they had was already decades ahead of us, and now, with the development of the exoskeleton for the military, they have the upper hand in the field as well."

Krump’s face scrunched and he asked, "What about the Navy?"

The defense secretary said, "The fleets are protecting strategic locations at the moment, we cannot divert them or the Tsar Nation would gain the upper hand in those regions and the global power dynamic would shift."

Krump clenched his fist and slammed it on the table before he asked, "What about the nuke? Can we drop that on them?"

The secretary of defense was shocked and he stood up from the chair before he said, "You must never say those words ever again. If one nation uses the nuclear bomb, then the rest of the world’s nuclear powers would attack us. The entire nation would be reduced to nothing but the graveyard of millions and billions of people. Mister President, try not to act like that because you are not the only person who is going to die in this, the entire organization would suffer the consequences."

Krump leaned back in the chair, thinking what they could do. Just then he thought of something and said, "The Warship that is headed to the floating island has a fault in it, right? What sort of fault did you report?"

The secretary of defense replied, "It is the fault with the canons."

Krump smiled and said, "Good, tell those guys that if the Clover nation does not allow them to dock in that port, have them fire a few cannonballs directly at the space elevator."

The defense secretary had his forehead covered with sweat because he knew that the escalation of this situation was going to cause a war. He said, "Sir, this is not right. The media is already talking about our actions in the past few months where we have been trying to create tension in order to gain more natural resources, and at a time like this if we try to pick a bone with the Clover Nation, the already shrinking stock market will finish."

Krump didn’t care, he said, "Mister Secretary, either you will follow the order or you can get lost from the office. I don’t want to see your face. Someone else will come here and do this thing."

The secretary of defence didn’t expect such a treatment. He clenched his fists and said, "Mister President, are you serious?"

Krump looked at the have of his defence secretary, and said, "You think I have the time to joke with you? There are many people who are looking for a job like this, and I am sure I have the privilege to change and find a better person for the job."

The defense secretary nodded, and then he reached into his coat pocket and took out a white envelope and placed it on the table. He said, "This is the hard copy of my resignation and the e-mail would be sent in five minutes. I will go and clear up my office, you can find yourself a new Sec Def."

After saying that the man left the room quickly and went to his own office in the presidential building. None of the people had a clue of what happened inside, it was just when the assistants saw the Secretary of Defense packing his stuff and storing it in a box, did they realize what was going on. Some people clicked the pictures and pushed them on the social media. The next wave of chaos ensued in the Eagle Nation.

In the vast ocean a huge warship was now heading towards the port where they were supposed to dock, and the captain said, "Damn, look at that would you?"

The rest of the people on the bridge could not help but turn their heads to look out of the window, and sucked in a deep breath. They saw a tower-like structure rising in the air as it stood bravely in the winds that were enough to topple cities. The first mate replied, "Sir, what are we supposed to do if they don’t give us the permission to dock."

The man sighed and replied, "The communication of this side of the world has been ruined because of the storm so we need to wait till they give any permission to us."

Just then one of the people looking at the situation through the binoculars and sighed before he turned back and said, "Sir, I don’t think that we can dock at all."

The captain frowned and then asked, "What do you mean?"

The sailor replied, "It seems to me that the platform is falling apart in the ocean, look."

As he said this the captain walked up and picked up the binocular and saw how the platform was literally breaking apart. He was shocked and said, "Didn’t they say that this thing was strong and would not fall apart?"

The people nodded but they could not explain how this was happening, after all, they had no idea what was going on behind the scene and could only wait for the message from the higher ups.

Meanwhile in the Cardinal mansion, the young man slapped the hand of the glutton best friend, and said, "Elvin, do you want Lily to scold you again?"

Elvin wanted to say something when Lily beat him to it, "Sorry Baba, but I have given up hope that Uncle Elvin will grow up. Only Aunt Cherry can make him understand this."

Elvin knew that she was teasing him and placed a hand on his chest as he said, "You cruel."

Lily rolled her eyes and said, "My love is reserved for Baba, Ma, Elle, Jules, Grandma, Aunt Frag, Aunt Clara, Sister Symphony..."

She went on to list all the people apart from Elvin. The young man held his forehead as he sat down on the couch depicting the image of a man who probably lost everything and was at the verge of a breakdown. Cherry chuckled and said, "Lily, don’t leave him out that badly, I will have to spend a lot of time to coax him."

Elvin shivered and he looked at his wife before he said, "Cherry, you have learned to be bad."

The people chuckled and the dinner continued, just then, Leo received an encrypted call, but this time he didn’t go up, and picked it directly before everyone else. The person on the other side said, "The President of the Eagle Country has given a shot to destroy order aimed at your Space elevator project."

That was it, the call ended, and Alpha reported that he could not track the call as the person didn’t spend too much time on the call. Leo nodded in understanding after all, even with the highest technology in place, it would need some time for the system to track the person.

After a few minutes, Leo called Ellyse and when the call went through, the lady said, "Sir, I was just informed, I am contacting my people in the deep cover over there to find out what is going on, but don’t worry, if that lunatic really attacked us, then he would get a simple gift of eternal sleep from us. I have made arrangements."

Leo sighed and said, "Fine, but make sure that our people don’t get involved in it even remotely and innocents are not hurt."
