Chapter 210: Lily Doesn’t Want To Go To School.
Leo didn’t sleep on the plane, he began to copy all the things that he received in the reward to the computer. In the next three hours of flight, Leo wrote the codes and the plans for structural and the neural connections between the brain and the prosthetic. Then he wrote down the formula of brain regenerative medicine that he was given upon gathering evidence against Hayley Prestige.
By the time he reached home, the sun was about to set. Leo opened the door, and found the house to be very silent. He frowned, but then suddenly he heard a small bell, Momo had come up to him. Leo bent down and picked the feline in his arm as he scratched the back of her head and said, "Are we alone here tonight, Momo?"
Just then he heard a car parking behind him, and a little figure dashed over and he instinctively bend a little to catch the streak of honey blonde in his arm. Lily hugged him like a koala and she said softly, "Welcome Home."
Leo smiled as he let out a heavy breath and replied, "Thank you my love, have you been good these days?"
Lily nodded, but she still stuck her cheek against his. Leo spotted Snow and Anastasia coming over with tired expressions on their faces. He asked, "What got you both so tired?"
Snow shook her head and said, "These past few days, although the stock price was climbing, there have been a few people who are saying that we are monopolizing the market and using our charitable actions to gain more leverage on the society."
They all moved in and Leo said, "Kyle, go and take rest, follow up on the situation of the rest and give me a report in the morning."
Kyle nodded and then he left after greeting Jock and the rest who were curious as to where they had gone. Leo cradled Lily in his arms as they sat in the living room. Clara Rouge came over with water and asked if they wanted to have Tea. Lily asked, "Ma, can I have some oranges?"
Snow nodded and said, "Aunt Clara will get you some, go along with her to the kitchen."
Lily pouted, she wanted to stay with Leo, but she was smart and knew that her mother probably wanted to ask him a few sensitive things so she turned to look at Leo and held his face in her palms as she pecked his cheek and said, "Baba, I will be back in two minutes, please don’t go anywhere."
