Mary’s heavy gaze had the whole crowd shivering as with each word said they felt like they were standing on sharp needles.
At this point in time, Rita felt like a sheep. She was going back into her sober state and everything that had happened immediately started rushing back into her mind, and she couldn’t help but inwardly face palm herself.
She didn’t even have the opportunity to say something back when a huge commotion immediately attracted the attention of the whole audience, prompting them to turn and look towards the hall’s entry, only for them to see a ragged, dirty girl walking towards the direction of the lu family, hatred visible on her face as she threatened them.
"You! Jane Lu! Look at what you just did! So you thought taking me to prison, so you thought framing me was going to make you and the whole of this dirty family survive??? I Anna I will make sure that you people wouldn’t live to see tommorow!"
It was at the same moment that the security immediately restrained Anna, as the upper society couldn’t help but gasp in shock and surprise, most of them pinching their noses in disgust as they could get the dirty smell emanating from the girl who surprisingly got herself out of the police station for some reason and in some ways they were still trying to understand.
They all turned their attention towards Jane, who just smiled as she briskly walked towards Anna’s direction, her lips curved upwards in mockery and taunt.
"Oh! look who we have here. Hmm... I wonder how you were able to get out of that place... but, umm, unless you tell me that I incited you to do all the nonsense that you did, then shut your mouth before I book you in for another lawsuit"
