Chapter 198: Wear a green hat
Jane headed to the stage still amazed by Rose and Jordan’s actions. The whole venue was erupting in a huge round of applause, especially from artists under JL entertainment since they knew this lady was responsible for their success in the industry.
Once she got to the stage and received the microphone, the girl chuckled through the microphone as she put it aside to have some laugh.
Her actions made the people below the stage laugh alongside her because they could tell she knew nothing about this award nor was she prepared for this.
"Well.." The girl started as she stared at the trophy on her right hand. "Everything has been sudden that I have been caught unaware. Of course I quickly adjust in the business world but right now, I feel like a girl being forced to confess to her crush before an audience!"
The entire hall erupted in laughter as they admired the woman’s smile and of course jovial mood. For the business men who had expanded into the entertainment industry, they knew that the look Jane was wearing right now was the complete opposite of the look she wore everyday in the business world.
"Regardless, I would like to thank the organizers for including this in the awards category and to JL, cheers darlings and to more wins, that is where you belong."
Her speech was short and precise and some artists could have sworn that their eyes started stinging with tears because of Jane’s words. They felt so lucky being under JL!
As the audience applauded her, one old man decided to comment only for him to regret the moment those words came out of his mouth.
"Sigh! How I wish she become my granddaughter in law!" The moment he said this to his friend, the air around them changed that even others could feel quite uncomfortable but didn’t know what caused such.
The old man felt as if someone was about to murder him and he accidentally looked over to his side only to meet with Liam’s intimidating gaze making him widen his eyes in realization and shock.
