Chapter 195: A coincidence
On the laptop was Alice’s chats with different men. Even after marriage, the woman just couldn’t stay away from men. The three ladies went through them with amused looks, especially Linda.
Linda’s initial plan was to have Jane help her hack Alice’s phone. That way, she can resend the video Alice sent but this time, using Alice’s account. Alongside with all the threats, she plans to act innocent and terrified before Jonathan and that way, it will be easy to complete her task.
"Damn! You are one smart-ass!" Rose complimented Linda but the girl’s mind seemed to be thinking of something. She seemed to have an inner battle making Jane chuckle a little. "Just say it Linda." Jane actually seemed to have all the patience in the world, contrary to her real attitude and self.
Her voice brought Linda back from her thoughts. "Can you also do the same to Anna’s phone?" She asked but her confidence seemed to fade with every word as she spoke.
Jane didn’t say anything but within minutes, the screen changed and shock was an understatement especially for Rose and Jane. "Damn! So Edward is being cheated on... serves him right though." Rose was the only one chirping but then Linda’s laughter echoed throughout the whole living room. "This is going to be super fun!!" The evil glints flickering in eyes couldn’t be mistaken for anything making the two best friends realize that this girl was down for revenge real bad and they are ofcourse not going to stop in any way.
Linda spoke to them for a little while longer before leaving in a hurry to execute all her other plans. After she left, Rose quickly surveyed the place before finally sitting next to Jane, excitement evident in her eyes.
"So.. did it happen?" She asked impatiently and when Jane slid down her turtle neck slightly, the girl couldn’t help but squel in excitement. Jane couldn’t help but laugh and when Rose also slid her turtle neck slightly, the two girls looked at each other before finally squealing together.
