Chapter 50: Results
Inside Ryan’s office, Jane sat looking at her brother with an amused look.
She couldn’t hold it anymore and laughed out loud, "Pppft Hahaha... my brother now attracts plastics, mom and grandma must know this bro!"
Ryan looked at his sister laughing and smiled widely. It is rare seeing her this happy and of course even if he has to go through the most embarrassing thing just to see her laugh, he can do it gladly.
"Why didn’t you tell me you are unwell sis? I had to hear it from Dr Su to know you are not well." Ryan spoke to her in an unusually calm tone. He felt happy seeing her all smiles that he couldn’t even reprimand her as he planned.
Hearing her brother’s question, She stopped laughing and explained everything, including how Liam’s food was super sweet.
Ryan laughed and patted her head, "He is a pretty good man sis. If you ever consider falling in love again, which I hope you do, for me, I feel Liam is the best choice. I want a man who can match my sister’s everything." He said smiling at her but realized she had zoned out when he suddenly mentioned about falling in love.
He coughed and immediately changed the topic. "Since tomorrow is the weekend, I will come to the mansion together with the DNA results. Although I am not sure how accurate this can be, we will just get answers tomorrow, alongside Aunt Rebecca’s explanation." Jane nodded her head in support of her brother’s words.
"Now young lady, let us get you a full body check and know what exactly is wrong with you."
Ryan pulled her out of his office and led her to Dr Su’s office.
Along the way, every nurse and Doctor Who met them bowed down or either greeted them. Jane smiled looking at their respectful faces but she knew behind the politeness most ladies portrayed were scheming minds.
