Chapter 46: Thank you
"Mr Yang, I just said thank you and besides, am nothing but a stranger to you, what makes you so concerned?"
Jane asked him back, but surprisingly, she was not mad that he lashed out on her, instead, she asked in a very calm voice.
Liam raised an eyebrow seeing her reaction which of course came unexpected to him.
"I choose to be concerned because you are my concern. I do not know how you will interpret it but that is what I want and not even you can make me not feel concerned or worried about you if I want to so get your feet back in bed." He looked at her waiting for her to retort back but she didn’t.
"You realize that if I occupy your bed for another day you will end up waking up with body aches because the coach does not fit your frame." She looked at him with an amused look but stood up and continued speaking,
"I am really grateful Mr Yang but I cannot continue staying in your house any longer, I am not even a guest. I will remain back and rest but I will be in my penthouse. You can check on me if you don’t believe me."
Liam looked at her for a whole minute and once he was sure he couldn’t detect any lie on her face, he let her go.
Jane smiled but before she could leave his penthouse ,she turned around and gave a smile she can describe as the most sincere smile she has ever given to someone.
"Thank you Mr Yang, I really appreciate."
She left his penthouse and opened hers. Immediately she locked the door, She broke down completely.
