At a little past nine-thirty, Gina finished her work, and thinking about her promise to John, her face flushed red. During this time, she also pondered how to make things more harmonious between her and John, so she secretly read some books about marital relationships.

Upon reading, it became clear that the main reasons for disharmony between couples were not only emotional discord but also disharmony in their intimate life. John let out a bitter smile and said, "Who told me to annoy her today? She said she wouldn’t let go unless I slept."

Emily leaned on her leg and gave it a pat, teasingly saying, "That’s enough, don’t treat your brother-in-law like a servant. If you keep bullying him, I’ll smack you."

Emily quickly withdrew her foot, stuck her tongue out at Gina, and said, "It’s truly like you don’t need a sister when you have a husband."

"Your brother-in-law treats you so well, yet you are constantly being petty. Really ungrateful."
