Grace Lopez naturally had no objections to Emily Lopez attending such an event. She didn’t support Emily going out in the past because Emily always hung out with those alternative youths.

"My dear sister, can I borrow your brother-in-law for a while tomorrow?" Emily Lopez swayed Gina Lopez’s arm, displaying a flattering look.

Gina Lopez hesitated for a moment and said, "It’s an activity organized by your school, isn’t it a bit inappropriate for your brother-in-law to go with you?"

Emily Lopez immediately responded, "Emily Smith already said that partners are allowed."

Only then Gina Lopez said, "Well, let your brother-in-law go with you. Didn’t you say you had a man you were quite fond of yourself? Why not bring him along?"

Emily Lopez giggled and said, "I don’t fancy him anymore, I’ve long since kicked him to the curb."

Emily Lopez proudly said, "I don’t have your skills. First, you brought a fake brother-in-law home, and then you actually made him your real brother-in-law. I need to be sure before I bring someone home."

At this moment, James Brown called them both to eat. As they reached the dining table, Emily Lopez said excitedly, "Brother-in-law, my sister agreed, you’re coming with me tomorrow."

James Brown said with a chuckle, "Sure, when Emily commands, I dare not disobey."

Now, being with Gina Lopez and Emily Lopez, James Brown truly felt a sense of home, and their conversations were quite casual.
