The Supreme Soldier in the City

James Brown first arrived at Emily Lopez’s workplace, and in less than two minutes, Emily Lopez had already sprinted out of the building, found James Brown’s car, opened the passenger door, and sat inside.

While buckling her seatbelt, Emily Lopez said with a grin, "Brother-in-law, you’re really punctual, huh?"

James Brown laughed, "Well, of course, how can I afford to be negligent when it comes to picking up my sister-in-law?"

"You’re absolutely right, if you don’t sweet-talk this little sister-in-law of yours, I’ll make life hard for you and my sister. I can make you a loving couple, or turn you into enemies."

James Brown was amused by Emily Lopez and said, "If your sister heard that, she would be furious."

Emily Lopez giggled, "She won’t mind even if she hears it. She hasn’t even thanked me yet. Hey..." Emily Lopez suddenly leaned closer to James Brown, sniffed a few times, and frowned, "Brother-in-law, this isn’t good."

"What’s the matter?" James Brown immediately felt a bit guilty.

"What’s the matter? Did you meet some other woman this afternoon?" Emily Lopez tilted her head and pouted.

James Brown instantly broke out in a sweat. Emma Campbell had been very careful when he left her place earlier, yet Emily Lopez could still smell it.

"Humph, there’s no use denying it. Let me tell you, my nose is quite keen. Not only is there the scent of another girl on you, but there’s also that kind of... hormonal smell. Clearly, you’ve been up to no good."

James Brown’s eyes suddenly widened like light bulbs, "Could it really be?"
