Chapter 126 Deceptive Guy
"What are you guys doing? Fine him already, revoke his driver’s license," Thomas Johnson shouted loudly at that moment.
The lead traffic officer turned his head and snapped, "Quit the nonsense and show me your driver’s licenses."
Thomas Johnson readily pulled out his license, and the other one driving the Porsche did the same. They weren’t worried at all, because their licenses would be returned tomorrow—they had that kind of clout.
"See, this is the consequence of speeding," James Brown shook his head and sighed, then said to the officer, "Comrade policeman, I’ve finished my cigarette, can I go now?"
The officer frowned slightly, nodded, and replied, "Go ahead."
Thomas Johnson was stunned for a moment, then yelled loudly, "Officer, why aren’t you confiscating his license?"
The officer said impatiently, "We don’t need you to teach us how to handle our cases."
Still unsatisfied, Thomas Johnson argued, "Then why are you confiscating our licenses? We were racing, we were speeding, and so were they!"
At this point, the traffic officers were also completely confused about what was going on. From the reactions of Thomas Johnson and his cohort, it was certain that James Brown was speeding, but there was no camera evidence of James speeding, making it impossible to penalize him.
"How we handle our cases is none of your business," the head traffic officer growled impatiently.
Thomas Johnson, with complete disregard for the traffic police, shouted in frustration, "What the hell, you’ve confiscated our licenses, but not his—don’t tell me this guy has a more powerful background than we do, and you’re too scared to confiscate his."
