Chapter 68: Clash at Sea
Wise was completely surrounded by fog. At first, he thought it was steam from the crash, but now he knew better.
This was the Kraken’s doing...
Just before his fist could rip its head apart, the beast slipped out of the skull helmet and retreated below the ocean.
And now Wise had to go after it, fighting the beast in its own territory.
"I don’t like this..."
Wise watched the water with a reserved expression, then he took a deep breath and plunged into the sea.
SkyFire dragons were not like fire dragons, unlike them, Skyfire dragons could actually swim for long periods without needing to go up for air.
But the water was not his territory. He lacked the structural adaptation the Kraken had to survive in the lake, so he would have to be careful.
"Partial transformation."
A long tail was all that came out of his back, swinging in a way that swiftly projected him forward.
Wise could already see the outline of the squid in the distance, and his eyes widened when he realized where it was.
