The silence felt almost eerie. "Hello?"
No answer came. Just as she reached for the light switch... Click.
The lights turned on by themselves. Jules jumped slightly.
Before she could react, a loud chorus echoed throughout the room. "Surprise!"
Aurora suddenly appeared from around the corner.
A bright smile covered her face. In her hand was a beautiful red rose.
She handed it to Jules. The moment Jules accepted it, her heart skipped a beat.
A strange feeling began forming inside her chest.
Before she could understand what was happening, Aurora gently pushed her forward.
"Go."
She grinned mischievously. "Head toward the kitchen."
Confused but curious, Jules obeyed. When she entered the kitchen, Adriana was waiting.
A smile appeared on Adriana’s face as she handed Jules two more roses. "Keep going."
Then came Olivia, Alex, Mira, Theodore, Adam, and Mary.
Each person stood waiting at a different location inside the mansion.
Each of them handed her roses. With every step, Jules felt her heartbeat growing faster.
By the time she reached the balcony, she was holding an entire bouquet.
The beautiful balcony overlooked the city skyline.
Soft music drifted through the air. Flower petals covered the ground.
At the center of a heart-shaped arrangement made from rose petals stood Lucas.
A bouquet rested in his hands. His eyes were fixed entirely on her.
For a moment, neither of them spoke. Jules slowly walked forward.
Lucas took a deep breath, then he slowly lowered himself onto one knee.
Everyone secretly watched from nearby. Adam couldn’t help becoming emotional.
Mary quietly squeezed his hand. Meanwhile, Lucas opened a small ring box.
The diamond inside sparkled under the lights.
His voice trembled slightly. "Jules..."
He smiled. "Will you marry me?"
The moment those words left his mouth, tears immediately filled Jules’s eyes.
She nodded repeatedly. Finally, she managed to whisper, "Yes."
Lucas’s smile widened instantly. He carefully slid the ring onto her finger.
However, to everyone’s surprise... Jules suddenly reached into her own pocket.
Then she pulled out another ring box. Everyone froze. For a moment, complete silence filled the balcony.
Then laughter erupted. Even Lucas was stunned.
Jules opened the box and placed the ring onto his finger. Lucas couldn’t help laughing. "What?"
He looked at her. "Don’t tell me you were planning to propose to me too."
Jules shrugged nonchalantly. "I figured it was necessary."
Lucas blinked. "Necessary?"
A mischievous smile appeared on her face.
"Well, since you’re becoming a father, I thought it was important to officially confirm our relationship."
The moment those words left her mouth, Lucas laughed. "Alright, alright."
Then suddenly, he froze. His smile disappeared. His brain finally processed what she had just said.
Slowly, very slowly, he looked toward her. "What did you say?"
The entire balcony became silent. Jules chuckled. Everyone else froze as well.
Jules gently placed a hand over her stomach. A warm smile appeared on her face.
Lucas stared blankly. "You..."
His voice shook. "You’re pregnant?"
Jules nodded. The moment she confirmed it, chaos erupted. Adriana immediately rushed forward.
She grabbed Jules’s hands. "Are you serious?"
Her eyes sparkled. "Do you really mean it?"
When Jules nodded again, Adriana nearly screamed in excitement.
However, before she could continue interrogating the poor woman, Lucas pushed her aside.
"Move."
Adriana stumbled backward. Fortunately, Olivia caught her.
Olivia rolled her eyes. "You’re acting like a possessive father."
Meanwhile, Lucas completely ignored everyone. His eyes were glued to Jules.
"Pregnant?"
His voice cracked. "You’re really pregnant?"
Jules laughed and nodded. That was all it took. Lucas immediately pulled her into a hug. Then, in his excitement, he lifted her off the ground.
"HAHAHA!"
He started spinning her around. "We’re having a baby! We’re having a baby!"
Everyone immediately panicked. Especially Mary.
Without hesitation, she marched forward and smacked him hard on the forehead.

"Ouch!"
Lucas yelped. Mary glared at him. "What are you doing?"
She pointed at Jules. "Put her down this instant!"
Lucas looked confused. Mary smacked him again.
"She’s pregnant, you idiot! You’ll make her dizzy!"
Only then did Lucas realize what he was doing. His face instantly turned pale.
He carefully lowered Jules onto the ground as though she were made of glass.
The sight made everyone burst into laughter.
Even Jules couldn’t stop herself from laughing as she watched the future father panic completely.
Meanwhile, Lucas rubbed the back of his head awkwardly before looking at her.
His eyes were slightly red. The excitement was still visible on his face.
"Today..."
His voice trembled slightly. "Today, I’m truly happy."
The words sounded choked with emotion.
The Waters family was already looking forward to the arrival of the baby.
In fact, several of them had already started imagining what the child would look like.
Aurora was especially excited.
She had already begun wondering whether the baby would inherit Lucas’s personality or Jules’s intelligence.
