Chapter 208: No amount of power
For a good moment no words were uttered, no actions were taken. Silas kept one arm around her middle tethering her to himself while his second-hand lay right on her neck and jawline.
Between his own, the vampire held her bottom lip, locking it back in whenever it slipped away. Her upper lip was just as soft and full as its counterpart, almost as delectable as the nectar coursing her veins. Their breaths had never intertwined into such a tangled mess before, but with the cadence of both their hearts rising, it was bound to happen.
The drumming in her chest grew especially louder when his tongue first attempted to penetrate her mouth for the sole purpose of reaching her own tongue.
She resisted it to the best of her ability, but eventually relented, allowing those two to connect and engage in such a fervent dance, it had lit the rest of her nerve endings ablaze.
His lips were kind and shy at first, only caressing at the surface until the sucking began. It was as though they were trying to take more than what was given to them, growing bolder and more aggressive by the second.
The whole time Silas wreaked havoc in her mouth, the taste of coconut that lingered from her breakfast that same morning sustained its dominion over the rest.
Soon, the heavy breathing turned to soft and meek little moans escaping her control. It was all too much to contain.
Being touched by a man in such a scandalous manner triggered every urge in her, screaming to fight back, to free herself from his hold, but to no avail as a bigger part of her wanted it, to discover what else might happen, to see what else was to come her way...
