Chapter 77: Creation Mage
"Master, what kind of person do I need to look out and follow for?" Aqua’s tone tingled with excitement.
Kaiju peeked behind and smiled. He petted Snow’s head and replied, "You should ask Snow, she was her teacher."
However, Snow did not want to communicate with Aqua. Since Kaiju initiated a conversation with her, she decided to continue it.
She said, "Master, I think the chances of teacher Lucy being the woman Herforao referred to is higher, she might just be acting. After all, we can’t be wrong about what we feel from her."
Kaiju nodded, deeply certain by their assumption, as well. "Isn’t she a Creation Mage? Can you explain the difference between an ordinary mage and a creation mage, Snow?"
Snow’s snowflakes eyes sparkled. "We, ordinary mage, Master, controlled the already existing element. For instance, we control the earth around us if we have an affinity with the earth. Although there is no ice, I possess a skill, where bounded by a system, to chant a magic spell to create and then control it. Hence, we are limited by the skill we learned from the system to create a magic spell.
Creation Mage creates from their imagination and then manipulates them. They are only restricted by their visualization, creativity, and knowledge. They are not confined to existing elements, which gives them a broader range of possibilities, but it requires exceptional skill in both creation and control."
Kaiju nodded. "From what I know, Creation Mages are divided, some can only create infrastructure, some focused on illusion... The biggest reason is they can’t be versatile since a single topic can cover endless branches of ideas."
Snow was in awe of her master’s knowledge as she nodded frantically. "That is true, Master, but I’m baffled by your claim."
"That they can’t be versatile?" Kaiju furrowed his eyebrows.
"Yes, because teacher Lucy is versatile."
