Early morning the next day, when most of the residents of the Bartfort Barony were still peacefully asleep, four figures could be seen at the local shipyard, engaged in a quiet yet lively conversation. Upon closer inspection, it became clear that this was a group of adventurers. They were all dressed in comfortable travel gear, with backpacks full of supplies and swords strapped to their belts. However, a closer look revealed that these weren't just any adventurers—they were men of the Bartfort family.
The group consisted of:
Barkus, the head of the family,
Nyx, his eldest son,
Leon, the middle son,
and Colin, the youngest of the brothers.
They had gathered at dawn to embark on a daring attempt to conquer a dungeon. The mood in the group was mixed.
Colin, despite looking sleep-deprived, could barely contain his excitement. His eyes sparkled with the thrill of adventure.
"Ahhh, I can't wait!" he exclaimed, practically bouncing on the spot. "I'm so excited to see my brothers in action and take part in my first real adventure!"
Standing beside him was Nyx, who, in stark contrast to his younger brother, couldn't stop yawning. His voice was sluggish and sleepy:
"Ughhh... Can we just get moving already? I'm still half-asleep..." He rubbed his eyes and looked around, clearly lamenting the early start.
