He raised a trembling hand as he spoke, and a ring box appeared in his hand.
The lid was flipped open, and two rings, one large and one small, were revealed.
The larger ring was golden in color and appeared to have been constructed from some type of yellow crystal.
It contained a powerful earth elemental aura, and there were two indistinct small dragon designs etched onto its surface.
As for the smaller ring, it was purplish-golden in color and bore the design of a pair of black wings.
"You have two martial souls, so I prepared two rings; can you put them on for me before I pass on?"
"No, I won't let you die! I'll take you to Captain; he'll definitely have a way to save you." Yuanen Yehui was shaking her head vigorously as she tried to rush away with Xie Xie in her arms, but all of a sudden, Xie Xie's body phased through her arms and fell onto the ground along with the two rings.
"I love you, Yuanen." Xie Xie's eyes were filled with unbridled love.
Yuanen Yehui let loose a grief-stricken cry as she hurriedly picked up the two rings. "Don't die, Xie Xie! I love you, too!"
However, Xie Xie seemed to be incapable of speech anymore and was only staring blankly at the rings in her hand.
Yuanen Yehui tried to grab him over and over again, but no matter how hard she tried, her hands merely passed through his body.
It was too late for her to find Tang Wulin.
Her heart was bleeding as she put the two rings on the ring fingers of her two hands with tear-filled eyes.

Xie Xie blinked at the sight of the two rings on Yuanen Yehui's fingers, and a spark seemed to have returned to his dull and lifeless eyes.
