Chapter 1393 - 1397 Old Heavenly Father Really Knows How to Play

This is something worth learning, but the Weaver Star couldn’t understand why she felt so out of place in this mortal world. Amidst the earthly smoke and flame, she couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of anxiety.

No god can separate themselves entirely from the mortal realm. The gods bestowed by the heavens are always intertwined with humanity, so the notion of absolute disconnection between celestial beings and humans has never truly existed.

"Speaking of which, that young man looks a little like your young disciple. Just darker-skinned and a bit rough around the edges," Nan Yuso shifted the topic.

"You seem quite interested in him?" Weaver Star asked.

"As I’ve mentioned, he resembles someone I knew, almost as if it’s a reincarnation," Nan Yuso continued.

"Then take him as your disciple. He hasn’t stayed with me for long," Weaver Star suggested.

"That won’t be necessary. I don’t accept disciples, and besides, he seems fine around you. If he comes to me and turns out to be unmotivated, I couldn’t bear to reprimand him," Nan Yuso replied.

"Zhu Lang doesn’t strike me as merely a disciple. He seems... perhaps he truly is reincarnated. He possesses maturity and experiences far beyond his age," Weaver Star mused.

"Oh, is that so? Then he seems like an excellent male disciple. When you ascend to the higher levels of the Immortal Court, he might be someone you can truly rely on," Nan Yuso probed.

They walked to the stone bridge, conversing slowly amidst the gentle river breeze.
