Chapter 1595: Three Of Them
In a dark hall, the floor boards were as smooth as glass, as though they were crafted from the shiniest obsidian, refracting the dim light into all corners. The hall was empty with the exception of some strange runes carved into the surface of the glass like floor. These runes continued to wriggle incessantly, as though it was alive.
Ominous whispers echoed through the halls.
At this point streams of light emerged from the runes on the ground. It then converged into three locations before the light dissipated, leaving behind three giant black eggs that emanated fluctuations of corruption. Kacha!
Cracks rapidly spread across the surface of the egg, as a black liquid leaked out.
Something then emerged from the egg.
On the right appeared a burly and well built male who resembled a tower. His body was plastered with strange tattoos that wriggled in his flesh and blood. His two palms were abnormally large, resembling the claws of a ghost, whilst the fingertips were pitch black as they glinted coldly with sharpness. On the left was a skinny individual dressed in dark golden clothes. His skin was riddled with gray cracks which made him look like a piece of porcelain on the verge of shattering, but at the same time he gave off an unsettling feeling. If Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e were here, they would instantly recognize that individual as Shen Jinxiao! However the current him had undergone a transformation. Most evidently, in between his brows was an onyx mark with a slight crack and if one were to peer more deeply, they would notice that a beating black heart could be found within. Between the two was a slender figure and her enchanting body was covered with fine black snake scales, like a tightly fitted suit of snake scale armor. Perhaps because it was fit too closely that her charming curves were revealed and when combined with her graceful waist, reminded one of a snake in human form, giving off an enthralling aura. The scales were located along the length of her body before merging into slightly pale skin.
When she raised her hand, her seductive features glowed with an unfathomable luster against the dim lighting of the hall, giving off both a creepy but also alluring charm that could suck any one into it. She was like the most luscious but poisonous fruit in the world. Whilst it was frightening to look at, one couldn't help but to wonder how it would taste? She was Li Lingjing. After not having been seen for a while, the aura that emanated from her body was no longer the same.
Perhaps she had already sunken into the darkness. These three figures had appeared within the black hall with nary a word. It was only a while later when a dark green flame materialized, slowly expanding into a figure of flame. This humanoid flame figure's appearance could not be seen clearly but a powerful pressure emanated from it, causing the trio's gaze to condense as they looked at it.
This was because they knew who this was.
Amongst the Thirteen Underworld Kings, this was the third ranked Demonic Flame Underworld King. "It looks like only the three of you have survived after absorbing the Ultimate Devil Corruption Seed." An aloof voice came from the figure. Over the last hundred years, the Origin Reversion Institute has created seven Ultimate Devil Corruption Seeds. The trio in front were the only survivors as the other four had been destroyed by the backlash.
