When Xi Xiaye walked into the bedroom, she could hear the sound of the father and son playing with each other. Peering around, she soon saw the half-closed bathroom door. When she walked over to look, the father and son pair were having lots of fun in the bathtub.
Mu Xiaocheng sat on his father’s tummy while Mu Yuchen steadied him with one hand. His other was scrubbing his little delicate body clean.
“Don’t let him play for too long. He might catch a cold!” Xi Xiaye knocked on the door. Before walking over to pick her son up, Mu Xiaocheng started to wriggle unhappily.
“Son, Mother’s going to put on clothes for you. You might catch a cold!” Mu Yuchen said.
“Dry him!”
Mu Yuchen quickly took the towel from the side to wrap his little body while he took another towel for himself too.
“Xiao Rui and the rest will probably only be back in a while. I’ve already told Li Si to contact the school. When we return and school reopens, we can go take a look at the school and adapt in advance,” Mu Yuchen said as he picked up to put on the clothes that had been prepared.
Xi Xiaye swiftly put some clothes on her son as she responded, “Okay, I’ll leave it to you then. They’ll probably be back in a few more days. They know about Grandmother too. Grandpa’s been saying that he’s been having lower back pain again. He needs to rest for a few more days before returning. He’s probably worn out from the vacation.”
Mu Yuchen thought about it, then said in a lowered voice, “Find some time for Grandpa to get a full body checkup.”
