Unable to continue the treason act, the Receptionist made Leonard sign another document that claimed he insisted on the deployment despite repeated advice.
Once that was done, she stamped the approval form and granted him permission.
"You may leave the academy with the form at hand whenever. You can bring multiple people alongside." She explained and emphasized that he could bring multiple helpers.
"Thank you." Leonard nodded and expressed his gratitude.
The moment he left the office, the receptionist immediately sent a magic transmission to the higher-ups regarding the issue.
She didn’t dare to send any when the latter was still present.
A few seconds later, a defeated sigh could be heard from the transmission.
"I’ll notify his household. We cannot do much afterward." Even the higher-ups’ hands were tied when it came to the Crown Prince.
In fact, it was the same case for other royals. The only difference was that the others wouldn’t pull such a move out of the blue.

Leonard remained unaware of the plight he had just caused the academy and its higher-ups. Moreover, he didn’t even bother to think about them much.

Although she loved to tease him, she still refrained from publicly exposing this kind of feat. Some might find it hard to believe, but she took a long time to cool down and regain her composure after that intense kiss.
"What do you want?" Leonard ignored her teasing and asked.
He refused to play her game and let her control the flow of the conversation.
"The Black Mire is a dangerous place." Eleanor suddenly turned serious.
"Even with a whole army, the black fog in the area would shroud everything. Almost everyone who enters together would be separated. This is also why there is rarely any information regarding the Black Mire."
"Then why did you even suggest I go there?’
’Because your mother said so.’ Eleanor wanted to speak these words aloud, but ultimately refrained from doing so.

"What are these?" Leonard snapped out of his daze and inquired. He noticed one of the items looked like a compass, but the other item was quite abnormal.
It was a glove, but only one of the fingers was covered. Think of it as a glove, but the fabric for the other fingers was removed.
"This item is called the Chrono Compass, one of the most effective ways to deal with the black fog," Eleanor emphasized, noting that the Chrono Compass was extremely rare.
Its structure and formation required extensive work to be crafted.
She then showed him how to use it and warned sternly that he must keep the item with him at all costs.
Don’t even lend it or let other people touch it.
She was very critical about this part.
As if that wasn’t enough, she even added a layer of security that bound the item strictly to him. Unless she personally unbound it, the compass would remain unusable for anyone other than Leonard’s.
"What about this weird-looking item?" Leonard pointed at the one-finger glove.
"That’s for you to wear to avoid strain," Eleanor said softly and helped put it on him. "Your previous demonstration in the aptitude test made me realize no one taught you anything about safety."
She then went on to explain how his output of power could strain his finger or even potentially harm his physical body.
The one-finger glove was designed specifically to protect his pointy finger and even help amplify his firepower without needing to use the majority of his mana.
To summarize, it was a utility and support magic tool meant to help ease his mana load.
’So this was why she disappeared for an hour.’ Leonard was rendered speechless. He could tell that the item looked simple on the surface, but the intricate design and layout showed that lots of effort was expended.
