Chapter 271: Abyss
Chapter Two Hundred-Seventy-One – Abyss
As the thought swam in Laurel head, the sudden revelation when a witch would tell Sorren, she also remembered that Zeldris had said talented.
So how talented?
The witches Sorren had fought with didn’t tell him or he’d have spoken about it. The Grand Witch might’ve realized, but tried to kill him anyway.
"There’s no law not to kill a fellow witch, right?" she asked. With no law those witches could do anything.
Zeldris shook his head.
"There is. The witches aren’t talented or they might not have attacked him by rules of the Witch Order. Powerful magic can detect magic, even its residues."
As Zeldris said that, The Princess felt relieved, she turned back. So Sorren should avoid Damancas and no one will figure him out.
She paused again, but he had gone there and nothing came after his life. Could it be his magic residue?
Was that the reason he could move freely without being harassed by a witch? She scratched her head. She didn’t need to know all these.
"Zeldris, don’t speak of this with me again." She said sternly. "I don’t fancy Sorren enough to know his story and secrets. If you have his weakness, then we can talk."
Zeldris gulped down saliva, his poor cousin. He turned when he heard the door the Princess walked to slam open, almost hitting her.
