Chapter Hundred-Forty-Three – Meeting Sir Darren
Laurel waited till Ferdinand walked past the Silent River border, before she continued. Why did he walk like a slug when she had said to hurry?
The new Silent River needed a notice to enter but she’d hope to get recognized by someone and be excused.
"My sister switched packs?" she heard him ask.
Truly, Silent River looked like a pack of it’s own.
Majority of High Mountains and Silent River survivors that had huddled in Green Valleys moved here when Stefan took over Green Valleys.
"No, she came during the times we were still struggling at Green Valleys." Laurel made it sound like she didn’t actually run away.
"What did she come here for?" but he kept asking. Laurel didn’t know how to defend.
"You can ask her directly." She finalized.
The boy nodded obediently. They both heard the sound of running on a roof and looked up. The young boy on the roof stopped, staring at them curiously.
"Princess Laurel of Green Valleys, and her Beta." Laurel introduced. "We’re here to see Master Darren, please."
The boy frowned. "I would’ve been told, unless you didn’t give a notice first. You guests always miss it. And your Beta...?" he stared at Ferdinand.
