“It’s better to stay put for now,” she said, “and wait for them to come to us.”
“Wofoo, you don’t mind if we don’t actively seek out points or Blood Essence, do you?”
Wofoo, wanting to embrace Adele but hesitant, simply said, “Of course not. Those things... don’t matter to me anymore.” Before meeting Adele, they had mattered, but now, being by Adele’s side was enough.
Adele, touched by Wofoo’s words, returned the girl’s hesitant embrace, a warmth spreading through her heart.
“So, we’ll stay here and... tie the knot?” Wofoo asked, her heart pounding.
“Pfft! Tie the knot? That sounds terrifying!” Adele giggled. “You mean ‘set up camp.’ But I think it’s a good idea. Let’s find some branches and leaves and use magic to build a simple tent.” If she had wood magic, it would be even easier, but Adele couldn’t access the Secret Realm’s ambient elemental magic. Xiao Ai, however, seemed to be able to block other mages from using it, as evidenced by Wen Xi’s failed attack.
“After the tent is set up, we can...” Adele’s voice trailed off, a mischievous glint in her eyes, making Wofoo blush.
“I-I’ll go find the materials! Adele, wait for me here!” Wofoo offered, eager to escape the sudden intimacy.
“Okay~”
