"Really?"
Suddenly, the air lightened, and the strong pheromone scent that had been spreading faded away. Grayson’s golden eyes, which had been glowing, quickly returned to their original violet color. When Dein realized that Grayson had stopped releasing his pheromones, the man flinched and staggered back, hurriedly retreating without a proper goodbye. Dein could only stare at his back, dumbfounded. And then, it was just Dein and Grayson left in the room.
Sigh...
Dein let out another deep sigh. His head was pounding, but the source of his headache didn’t disappear from his sight. He grabbed the lukewarm beer and chugged half of it in one go, then set the bottle down with a thud and wiped his mouth with his arm.
“How did you find this place?”
Dein’s quiet voice was met with Grayson’s teasing response.
“I can find you anywhere, we’re lovers after all.”
“Go fuck yourself.”
Dein raised his middle finger. But Grayson just kept smiling, showing no sign of offering any real explanation. How had he done it? It was ridiculous to think that Grayson had somehow slipped a chip into his body without him knowing.
Could it be that he had hired someone to tail me?
For now, that seemed like the most plausible explanation. Frustrated, Dein glared at Grayson and clenched his teeth.
“You should’ve stayed away after we were done at work, why are you still bothering me after hours?”
