Chapter 50: Voidreign Kingdom Construction
The gentle hum of nature filled the air as wind caressed the glowing petals of the ethereal flowers. High above the earth, nestled within the clouds and vines, the Celestial Garden Castle floated in solemn grace. A place of serenity and power, the castle's sprawling garden platforms stretched outward, suspended in the sky like a dream forged by ancient gods.
Jessie sat at a round marble table in the center of the garden's main courtyard. Fragrant steam curled from the porcelain cup in his hand. The tea, brewed from celestial herbs found only in this sanctuary, calmed the mind and sharpened the senses. The golden rays of morning filtered through the translucent canopy of sky flowers above him.
He waited patiently.
Then, with a low creak, the grand arched doors of the castle's inner sanctum began to open. Vines shifted to the sides, revealing the path into the garden, and three figures stepped forward hesitantly, their footsteps echoing faintly across the vine-woven bridge that led to the courtyard.
These were not ordinary visitors. They were the ministers of Voidreign Kingdom—former loyalists of the dethroned King Seki, now placed under Jessie's rule. Fear and awe blended in their expressions, knowing full well the strength of the man who now sat peacefully before them, sipping tea as though he weren't the conqueror of empires.
The ministers crossed the garden in silence. For a moment, they were distracted—mesmerized by the beauty around them. Flowers bloomed in colors they'd never seen, glowing pools reflected constellations despite it being daytime, and songbirds with feathers of light flew overhead. And there, in the center of this paradise, sat Jessie.
"Welcome," he said calmly, his eyes meeting theirs without emotion. "Come. Sit."
They obeyed immediately, seating themselves across from him, hearts pounding in their chests.
"I've summoned you here," Jessie began, setting his cup down with a soft clink, "to assign you responsibilities in the construction and growth of the Voidreign Kingdom. But first... Introduce yourselves to each other."
The first to step forward was an older man, tall and regal in posture, with silver-streaked hair and eyes like polished iron.
"My name is Kaelor Brimstone," he said, bowing slightly. "Royal Architect. I design castles, cities, roads, and fortifications. I once shaped Seki's capital—but my loyalty is yours now."
