Chapter 11
TESSA POV
Dr. Missy made me stay in hospital for three days to make sure that I was completely healed and the wolfsbane was out of my system and Tyler stayed there with me the whole time. Except for when he needed to go home and shower. Otherwise, he was leaving the pack up to Cade and Carter.
But when I was finally told that I could leave, I was glad to finally be going home. Tyler picked up my bag from the bed and he held his hand out for me, so I took his hand and he guided me out of the hospital.
The entire staff at the hospital said goodbye to me as I was passing them even though I hadn’t met most of them but Tyler assured me that it was because I was the Luna. And I could only think that it was because they knew what had happened to me.
We got in Tyler’s car that was parked at the entrance and he drove us back to the packhouse. He raced around the car and opened the door for me and I got out of the car and looked up at the house.
I stood there staring at it for a minute before my heart started pounding really loudly and I could hear voices echoing in my head. Voices from that night when I was attacked. I was attacked in this house.
Tyler grabbed my hand quickly which helped calm me down and he looked really concerned. I felt terrified going inside.
"It’s alright. I promise that it’s alright." He said.
"But they’re in there. Aren’t they?" I asked.
"They’re under the house. And they are never going to get you. They can’t get out of the dungeon. I promise you that." He assured me.
We took little steps going into the house and when we opened the door I saw that no one was around.
"You told everyone to leave." I say.
