Chapter 10
BELLA POV
"Bella, what the hell are you doing?" Ethan yelled from the other side of the bars as I pulled a syringe out of my pocket.
"What needs to be done." I replied coldly while staring at Mason. He looked weak. He hadn’t eaten in a while. Sleep deprived. But I know that he was still stronger than me. A couple days in this place doesn’t mean that I can take him on. That was never going to happen.
But then I started stalking towards Mason and he stood up looking all big and tough against me and he really was. He was huge compared to my tiny stature. But I didn’t care. I really didn’t. I just saw what he did to my best friend. Something that no one ever deserves.
He started walking towards me and I could hear the panick in Ethan’s voice and Tyler was screaming for the guards to get the other key. But Mason lunged at me and I knew that this was going to be my only chance.
When He knocked me to the ground and was on top of me I jabbed the saringe into his stomach and injected the clear liquid.
He immediately looked down and rolled off of me so I scrambled to my feet.
"Wolfsbane is a real bitch isn’t it?" I asked and I saw Tyler lying on the ground and he started writhing in pain and not being able to get up or move from where he was.
The others in the hallway got quiet after that and I reached down into my boot and pulled out a leather pouch. I unwrapped it to reveal and silver knife with a black leather handle. The handle was so I didn’t burn myself. But the rest was silver. And as soon as Mason saw it he tried to wriggle away from me, but he couldn’t.
"What’s the matter Mason. Not so tough now, are you? You actually look scared of me. A tiny pathetic little girl who you always thought of as expendable." I say as I stalk closer to him.
" Well, I’m not so weak and pathetic now, am I?" I asked as i sliced his arm with a shallow cut and he screamed in pain from the burning of the silver.
A guard ran back into the hall with another key to get into the cell but Tyler stopped him from unlocking the door.
