Suddenly, I Am Rich

"I missed this..." Selina’s low and sultry voice echoed at the 4 corners of the room.

"Me too," Gray smiled at her.

He was lying on her side, their naked bodies under the blanket. Selina’s arms were wrapped around his body, and her head was resting against his chest. One of his hands was wrapped around her waist, too, while the other was absentmindedly tracing small circles on her arm.

They just finished doing the deed so the two of them were already tired. They did it multiple times over and over again until they’re satisfied with one another, especially Gray.

It has been more than a week since they last saw each other. During that time, he could only depend on his hands, so he was really eager earlier.

"You look more tired since I last saw you," Selina pouted her lips as she looked up to him.

"It’s because you have been away for so long," Gray acted to be sad in which Selina just giggled.

"Hey, I’m serious," Selina playfully glared at him, though that answer made him all giddy inside.

"Alright, alright," Gray chuckled. "It’s because of work, okay?"

Selina took a deep sigh. "You always say that."

"Because it’s true."

Selina stared at him for a few seconds, as if trying to figure out if he was hiding something. But then, when she saw the seriousness in his eyes, she knew immediately that he was telling the truth.

"You’ve been busy these past few days?"

Gray nodded and acted pitifully.

"Very." He answered as he gently brushed a strand of her hair away from her face.

"How about you?" he asked. "How was your trip?"

At that, Selina’s expression softened. The corner of her lips immediately curved upwards into a small smile.

"It was nice!" she exclaimed quietly.

"Grandfather wanted to visit some old places he used to go to when he was younger." She started to share as Gray listened silently.

"Then we went to this small coastal town," she continued.

"He kept telling me stories the whole time. When he was still building everything and when he was still hustling a little, he said." She let out a small laugh at that.

"He repeated some of them more than once, and it’s a little annoying."

"I can already imagine that." Gray laughed at that. For some reason, he could understand her. Especially when he knew Conrad well enough.

Selina joined him and laughed too.

"But then," she smiled longingly, "It was good. I enjoyed my time with my grandfather. I think he was happy too. It was a well-deserved break for him."

"I’m glad at that," Gray sincerely told her.

After handling businesses for so long, Gray understood how tiring it is to work every day. He was already tired of 2 grocery stores. Just by thinking of it, he knew that it must be worse for Conrad since he’s leading a big empire.

"What about you, Gray?" she asked softly. "How are you aside from work?" Selina’s voice was full of curiosity when she asked that.

"..."

Gray suddenly didn’t know how to answer that because all he had been thinking about for weeks was his goal and work. When he realized it, the smile on his face slowly faded.

Selina immediately noticed his silence. She lifted her head slightly and raised a brow.

"Gray?" Her voice was gentle and more careful now.

Gray looked at her, and their eyes met.

"I have something to say to you," Gray muttered. All of a sudden, he was so serious that Selina couldn’t help but feel uneasy, too.

"Did I do something wrong?" She worried out loud.

Gray put on a small smile and shook his head.

"No, I mean I just need some help," Gray lightly chuckled. His seriousness disappeared when he noticed her cute little reactions.

"With what?" Selina raised a brow. A naughty idea crossed her mind. Her hand lowered from his waist to that thing in between his legs. It immediately hardened.

"With this?" Selina pressed her lips together to hide a smile on her face.

"You naughty girl," Gray playfully smiled too. He shifted his weight suddenly. He went on top of Selina and locked her in between his arms.
