Chapter 112: Argument
"You were stalked by a vampire... How terrifying!" shuddered Cedric on the go.
Emily didn't say anything, but her concerned expression showed how she felt.
Cyril explained this event the best he could, though he only vaguely spoke about how the fight went down.
"I didn't even know vampires were real..." Finally added Emily. Her voice shaking a bit in the process.
Though she quickly accepted this new knowledge, in the city of magic, a bloodsucker is not the most unusual thing one can encounter.
"It's a good thing knights found you when they did." Cedric said with relief, "Lately people talk bad about them, but they still seem to be reliable."
"At least you got to see another knight in action! That's a pretty good experience, if anything," he finished saying this with a smile. Possibly an attempt to lighten the mood.
Cyril only nodded in response. While Cedric saying that slightly made him upset for whatever reason, he did gain a lot from this encounter, or rather, Rhamn did.
She still voiced from time to time her new findings about what she can do.
Acquiring the structure of that 'vampire virus' has opened the doors to her for many abilities.
