Jia took a step back, dazed. She frowned at Mingshen’s sparkling demeanor. "What do you mean?"
Mingshen grinned, tilting his head and pointed at Ke Yufei’s hand. Jia saw it dressed with some small band aid and she remembered that she had seen him hurt when they had entered the dining hall.
Ke Yufei was standing behind Chow Mey holding his camera and rubbing the back of his hand where it hurt.
Jia’s lips parted in shock.
Had Chow Mey injured him somehow?
She quickly went to Meng Rin’s side and asked in a low voice, "How did Ke Yufei hurt his hand?"
Meng Rin said, "Oh well..." she coughed. "Meymey was being a little mean to him. I don’t know what problem she has with Yufei but she doesn’t like him. That evening, she had purposely pushed back her chair when Yufei was passing from behind her and it struck his hand."
