Chapter 12: Smart girl
The case came to a close with Danya's successful rescue and soon, the place was secured by the cops with Huojin's help.
Jia bent on her knees and wrapped Danya in a blanket. She smiled and patted her head. "You were really strong there, Danya. It was a frightening place to be at, but you held on. You are a brave girl."
Danya blushed at her compliment.
"It was scary at first. But when you and the two brothers came, it wasn't scary anymore. It was fun!" Her innocent eyes sparkled.
She chuckled.
"I like you all a lot! Sis, you beat up the bad guys so good!" She boxed a few punches in the air as if mimicking Jia's fighting. "Pretty sister is so pretty and cool!"
Aish, she is such a polite girl~
Jia hugged her hard. "You are the coolest!"
Danya then ran up to Bojing's side and kissed his cheek. "Pretty brother, you were so cool too! Thank you so much!"
Though she lamented that she couldn't see him fighting like Jia did.
Bojing burst into tears. "I-I was cool?"
