Chapter 1251 - 1250: Young Master Peary Is an Irresponsible Man
Nia Mitchell absolutely hates the way the CEO avoids problems, why does he have to be like this every time?
Hmph!
Her heart is so tired.
Her body is even more tired.
Nia Mitchell lay on the large bed with her eyes wide open, motionless, and beside her, there was still no sign of the CEO.
So, did he just come back to satisfy himself and then leave?
Nia Mitchell lay there angrily until her stomach growled, and then she changed clothes and went downstairs.
Unexpectedly, Maxwell Peary hadn’t left this time; instead, he was sitting in the living room.
She saw a computer in front of him, and a glass of plain water on the table.
Nia Mitchell immediately broke into a big smile.
She knew how much her uncle loved coffee, and now seeing he really quit coffee, she was beyond delighted.
"Uncle!"
She immediately dashed over and plopped down next to the CEO.
"Why didn’t you rest a bit longer?"
Seeing her running over with a playful face, Maxwell Peary immediately put aside what he was doing.
"I felt a bit hungry and couldn’t sleep."
Nia Mitchell spoke up somewhat sheepishly and smiled shyly.
"Hungry?"
Maxwell Peary had overlooked this point; it was already noon, and lunch would be ready soon.
Little Rabina didn’t have breakfast. Last night, she was exhausted, and again this morning, so being hungry was the most normal thing.
"Sorry, I forgot. Come on, let’s have lunch."
Hearing her say she was hungry made Maxwell Peary feel very guilty. He immediately set aside his work and led her to the dining hall.
"You don’t have to do this, I can go eat by myself, aren’t you very busy?"
She didn’t want to be a burden on him even a little.
"No matter how busy, you still have to eat, come on."
The two of them arrived at the dining hall, and Nia Mitchell happily ate to her fill.
The consequence was that the CEO had to spare time to accompany her on a walk to digest.
......
Anne Davidson couldn’t believe Maxwell Peary could be so heartless, nor could she believe that such a little girl, Nia Mitchell, actually won over Maxwell Peary’s heart.
This was simply impossible,
Yet, it was actually true.
Thinking of this, she was immediately full of rage.
When she returned to the Davidson Martial Arts Academy, Oliver Peary was already awake and sitting in the dining hall having breakfast.
"Grandpa."
Anne Davidson didn’t have much spirit as she sat over there.
"Hey, hurry and have breakfast."
Grandpa Davidson was a bit taken aback when he saw her. He originally thought she was out early to exercise.
But seeing her all made up and wearing heels, it was clear she wasn’t.
It left Grandpa Davidson a bit puzzled.
"I have no appetite. You eat first; you don’t need to mind me."
Anne Davidson glanced at Grandpa Davidson and then she sighed.
"Anne, didn’t Grandpa say, have you quarreled with Young Master Peary?"
Why had she been back so long and was still living outside?
Maxwell Peary had more properties than you could count, what was she doing now?
"Grandpa, why would you ask such a thing?"
Anne Davidson was stunned, not expecting Grandpa Davidson to ask this question.
"Because you’ve been back so long, Young Master Peary should have visited, or at least taken you away, why hasn’t he done anything?"
This was simply too strange, could Maxwell Peary be such an irresponsible person?
It was a bit unbelievable.
